Our Purpose
Rockee co-founders Andrew, Danish and Steve are frequent travelers who realized there were only two options to stay connected while traveling:
1. Settle for low quality, mass market eSIMs, or
2. Pay expensive roaming rates on national carriers
We started Rockee to give ourselves – and you! – a better option:

Our Team
Andrew Baisley
Andrew is an avid traveler and data roamer. His son managed to visit nearly 20 countries before turning 3, so you can imagine how important eSIMs have been for his family.
Andrew has over 20 years of experience and has been in business development, partnerships and sales leadership roles at Facebook/Meta, Tech in Asia and at Asana.
Andrew is from New York, has spent the last decade in Singapore and is currently based out of Vermont.
Danish Lakhani
Danish is a Fulbright Scholar with a Masters in Economics from Brown University.
Danish has over a decade of experience as a data scientist, focused on digital advertising and statistical modeling. He has worked in leadership roles at Facebook/Meta, Agoda and Google, before joining up with Steve and Andrew to start Rockee.
Danish has lived all over the world, including in the United States, Singapore, Thailand and Pakistan. He’s currently based in Dubai.
Steve McLaughlin
Fun fact: Rockee is actually named after Steve’s English Bulldog pictured here.
Steve spent 10 years across various global roles at the investment bank Morgan Stanley before finding himself in Singapore.
A serial entrepreneur, Steve is involved with and has started several businesses, including a highly successful, Singapore-based tech company focused on logistics.
Steve is originally from Scotland and currently splits his time between Bangkok and Singapore.
